You can use the HDMI pin hack, so that PC or AMP doesnt know your TV is turned off. Thats the easy way. You can try the other methods, UltraVNC or EDID override. Disable 'Monitor Off' detection, how?

Just a note, getting a similar issue with frame rate drop. My cause is the USB IR unit for the remote. Once I remove it from the usb socket the frame rates dont drop. Looking for a work around tonight. by the way its a Fusion MCE HDTV remote and IR unit.

same issue here using ATI audio device via HDMI. and onboard realtek device. Only happens after a day use of MP, restart of MP fixes it. Annoying me because I want to give the box back to my sister to use, it was a present :)

ok disabled all other audio device in windows 7 via control panel/sound. Didnt fix the issue. I will try tonight to disable the realtek audio device via the bios so it wont show in windows 7. By the way im using the ATI Video card audio device with HDMI.

i have the same issue over HDMI, but mine volume works fine for the first day and after that I cannot adjusted in Mediaportal until I restart MP. I will try to disable some other audio devices in windows 7 to see it that helps.

ATOM ION 330 boards are cheap as chips now. Make sure you get ION (nvidia 9400) other wise you wont be able to play HD content well.

Changing the codec in FFDshow fixed my frame drops for LIVE TV in AC3. Also I have a copy of I-Robot in 1080P no matter what I use Windows or Linux OS's I still get drop outs must of been the way it was ripped.
