I have this problem whenever i try and play any radio channel. Once present it prevents me from listening to any radio channel or watching any tv channel.

Have the same problem since today though nothing changed in my setup. Cant get anything to run but the card runs fine in other software and detects/scans fine in tv server as well.

1.1.0 rc1
windows 7, x64

Edit:
And it just started working again without a clear reason why (?).
Does anyone have some details on when this occurs?

Couldn't see any difference in logs before and after the issue.

Still seeing this in RC4. I have foxtel on SVideo connection into a separate card to my DVB-T. It seems (not 100% sure) that if I pause fox then play from the buffer and change channel to at DVB-T channel when I go back to fox I get this error. Can't view any fox channels without restarting MP.
Never had this before, but had to rebuild recently and put RC3 on, noticed this and upgraded to RC4 to see if it would fix it. No luck.
Anyone else still seeing this ?

I compliment you on the thoroughness of your investigations. (y) Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas what the problem might be. :( Perhaps someone else will post with some suggestions. -- from CyberSimian in the UK

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).

Thank you for pointing out that my analysis may be less than accurate. :p Although the change to TV channel 71 may not also have been applied to the independent radio channels (different MUXes), the logs that I prepared for one of the development team does show a difference between channel 704 ("BBC Radio 4") and channel 731...

I do not know why this xml was in my theme folders, it must have sneaked in some time ago (years?). I simply removed the file. The Latest Media Handler plugin seems to be working as expected. I've had no lock-ups.
