ok I think I made the change correctly, hope this log could tell you.
Also, it still disconnected me, the last 2-3 lines is where it happens.
Not much info there, just that it is removed from the network.

No, I haven't noticed that yet, I will double check it.

I also thought it may be worth mentioning that on my last test (the one I posted above) I disabled IPv6 on my client and server eth0 interfaces, and I still had the issue.

Good morning guys, so this morning I tried leaving a running ping from my client to my server, and it still lost it's global shares.

Is anyone else testing this on a Windows 8.1 environment?

I am not but I can tell you some of us are having an issue with Global Shares and the Dev's are now looking into it.
Unlike you, at least 2 of us cannot even access / see / setup global shares.... The shares are available but MP2 cannot see them when setting it up....
Quote from Morpheus_xx "I slowly getting an idea about the issue. Need to start debugging now. My server still works, client doesn't... Stay tuned, you don't need to test any more for now"

Hey guys, not sure how you are making out with this issue you found, but I am more than happy to lend my testing services to any new builds you would have before the beta.
    thanks for your hard work.
    take care.

    jpichie,
Mine is back to working but I am note real sure what fixed it.
There is another tester that seems to have found something between getting IP info from his DHCP vers a static IP.
I on the other hand have all static and have a DNS server.

The thread is over in the Dev Team Forums and I do not know if you can see it.

    @Lehmden
Have you found anything new on the shares issue?

The "network share browsing" issue is completely unrelated to the problem here.

I have seen my MP2-Client losing the connection to server as well, but it happened only 2..3 times in a month. As MP2 handles changes of network configuration gracefully (seen it recently when changing my network interfaces ;)), I think it happens that an existing connection gets invalid and is not reestablished.

@mm1352000 @MJGraf do you have any idea which part of our UPnP library could fail here?
