. I hope that EPG with my local language special characters will work with media portal TV server.Anyone know if there is any "ready" solution to use MP TV Server through W7MC frontend?
Because, unfortunately, MP is acting up on me and I had to give up on using it and move to W7MC. It's working fine but I'd like to use TV Server for recording / tv streaming etc, and I'd like to use it through W7MC GUI.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.

First; TVHeadend/Kodi.... Nah. Given up on that - 'non-tech'; its horrible. 'Tech' - a few reasons but mostly that it is buggy. It is actually a real shame as it does have potential and promises a lot (was great to have Kodi on my phone and be able to watch live/recordings...
