    Goog morning community!

After watching a DVD or a movie TV-Service crashes with white screen. After closing the TV-Service and restart it, TV works fine!

    Please help.

Can you repeat using MPTestool from the start menus and leave DVD playing for 10 minutes and stop and close MP.

Logs only show under a minute for MP running, with no information regarding playing a dvd.

    thnx

Ok can now see times for dvd start\end and when TVServer log stops, unfortunately there are no errors i can see with this.

Just tried to see what happens with my similar setup, amd x2, powerdvd8 etc, and had no such crash.
Now i'm going a bit off topic here, when you start tv\video, do you see the desktop for a 1-2 seconds, i was but now using https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ted-non-linear-smart-stretc-38483/#post257923

Hopefully you are using the latest svn or at least 19069 as this makes sure the TV graph is killed correctly, when stopped.

I just do not know if that would help, also do not chose PowerDVD as DVD navigator, as there are issues.

Thank you, but it doesn't help. Here is a log after crashing!

I have the same issue here. Why would the type of navigator used cause an issue with MYTV?

Can both of you confirm this is with mediaportal running, TV becomes unresponsive when entering live TV, this happens after playing a DVD, and it has nothing to do with TVServer.exe itself.

    Thanks

    Hello!
The Problem still exists: After watching a movie (Divx, mpg, dvd...). or listening Music, "MyTV" crashes!

After terminating TvService manual in the taskmanger and restart it, MyTv works fine!

    Please help!

    Regards

Clean logs would be helpful. Which svn?

Just after the crash, before doing anything else start up TV-Server Configuration and try to preview a channel.

    What are your results.

    Then post the logs.

    Hi SciDoctor!

Here the result of the preview:

I have the newest SVN, but it was the same with RC 1 stable!

    I have attached my logs!

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...
