    why the hell would u submerge your pc into vegetable oil?

    i just dont get it !!!

    well, you could think of it as an extreme form of water cooling... instead of having pipes with cooling liquid you just submerge the whole PC into non-conductive liquid...
    That means no fans at all = no noise at all.
    I find it awesome :idea:

    I've actually been thinking about sth. like this when I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but.... Even though my wife thinks it's quite cool she doesn't want to have it in the living room, either.

    I have been thinking about something like this myself. But that time I was thinking about using deionized water...
    For an overclok project som years ago i tried to place everything exept hd and dvd in liquid nitrogen... It was no sucess :(
