it is very handy, have used it in past on trial version but when that expired wasn't willing to pay £100 for the lifetime license they were asking last year, that has halved now but in my opinion they are marketing it wrong, i would have no problem paying a nominal amount for a years sub say £5, but lifetime things bug me incase they go out of business.
When i got this i was able to watch a few Blus i had saved up lol

Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
