What do you mean exactly? You want to see wallpapers in the TV guide of a selected movie or TV show? That's not possible..

I though that since NextPVR is able to get metadata from TVDB, it would be also possible for Media Portal.
No it's not supported. (yet) However, it should be a nice feature, so maybe you can do a feature request in the FanArt handler topic: Click!

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
