but if there is a CRT that supports 120hz at 1920*1080, would the earlier Cats allows selecting that?

Is it just LCDs that the Cats only allowed selecting 60hz for (at 1920*1080, I think the one I just returned allowed 75hz at lower resolutions) until 10.5?

    The release notes don't mention anything very interesting unless you have a 5000 series card, with the sole exception of HD flash acceleration.
