Statick, I don't think biosonik is developing the plugin any further due to some constraints on functionality. It seemed happyf1sh was onto something and had progressed a little but it was not working on Vista, only XP. Did you give that a try? The link to googlecode page is a few pages back ...

I really hope someone will take this project back on, for now using biosonik's ver MP-iPlayer Alpha Build 0007, works ok for me for bbc channels ,
keep checking forum every day to see ....

i'm having a look at the sources now. been a while since i've coded anything at all, and i've not developed anything for MP, but i am fairly conversant in c# and c++ as well as some other languages.

I am reading this discussion with interest from Mexico.

Good TV is hard to come by. I am a recent convert to MP and would love an MP plugin for UK and USA online TV. Here is one offering that could bring me the online content. I have not tried it yet.... But an MP HULU and BBC plugin + VPN would be awesome for me and lots of other expats missing "home" content. Go guys.

I think both the BBC and the Hulu people check the IP address of the requesting viewer - if you are not in the correct country you are not going to get the programs
This is mainly a licensing thing AFAIK
