    Hi again folks

I take it there are no updates?
I just wanted to report that the crossbar bug that I fixed will be fixed in 1.2.0b. If there are any other code problems then now would be the time to get them fixed if you want the analog tuner to work in MediaPortal 1.2.0.

Here is the patch for 1.2.0a that we talked about via PM. Please can you do the following to test:

    1. Delete all analog tuner configuration files. These are in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\AnalogCard for XP, or C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\AnalogCard for Vista/XP.
    2. Delete all "CVBS#x on y" and "S-Video#x on y" channels.
    3. Stop TV Server.
    4. Clear TV Server logs.
    5. Start TV Server.
    6. Attempt to view an analog TV channel if you can.
    7. Re-add the "S-Video" (analog) inputs.
    8. Attempt to view each one and see if you get any results.
    9. Tell me how many inputs of each kind you get.
    10. Post TV Server logs.

    Thank you once again :D

    Hi mm1352000,

Many thanks for supplying the patch, I applied it but still only get 3 of each kind of input and still nothing on any of those inputs.

Attached log files as requested, what I noticed in the logs is that the TV Server detects the 2 crossbar filters and on both of those the 2 'Video_Composite' crossbar pins, this mimics what SageTV sees and as expected it's the 4th input that is configured in SageTV that works which the TV Server isn't giving me as an option.

    Bagal.

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
