There's always something new to wish for ;), and yes I agree, Dave works hard on his Bleazle-skin...

I installed Moving Pictures yesterday-evening and must say it looks very well. Although I'm missing a few things it has some advantages over MyMovies.
The Bleazle skin looks good on this one, although cover images are still somewhat streched out (*wishlist*).
I thought I'd overwrite your files with the standard supplied files of Moving Pictures. Unfortunately I can only see the topleft quarter of the screen. Weird display. Anyway, nothing for you to worry Dave.
If only you could fix up the stretched out cover images somewhere in the new year.

Happy holidays!

Albert

Good thing for you guys I never sleep :)

...In MyTV, theres no preview screen in the bottom left hand corner

Are you talking about when Live TV is playing and you go back to the guide? Here's what mine looks like:

bleazle-albums-thumbnails-picture166-guide-now-playing.jpg

As you can see it's all good.

Note: I've tweaked the guide - there's a TV in the lower left corner by default (because it was a bit boring with nothing there) and I've moved the Date/time to the top right corner because it ties in with a lot of the other screens (plus it was a bit boring up there too! :) ) This will be in the next release. If I was was making money out of this I'd think I was beginning to sound like a sales person saying "yeah, wait until the next model, it'll be even better!" :D

..In MyRadio, the text in the guide is blacked out ...

I see what you mean - I've never used the radio guide - that'll be easy to change - WHEW!! :D

In Recorded TV, the currently playing preview screen is splashed over the top of the recordings list.

Here's what mine looks like:

I don't know why yours looks different? What does it look like if you use Blue3 (sorry to do that to you :D ) It should look the same as the Bleazle skin. If that's the case then I'm assuming it's something local? If it looks different tell me and I'll try to work it out. I wonder if it has anything to do with you not using TVServer - maybe in the next release I'll have to say "only supports TVServer based MP systems" - :D :D :D

Thanks for the feedback - the radio guide thing will definitely be fixed in the next release - I'd do it now but the wife is watching Coronation Street

I reckon youve probably installed the 16:9 moving pictures. try the 4:3.

Yep Gary is right. The included MP file is just the 4:3 file it comes with. I haven't tweaked it yet to make it look right which is why the DVD covers look strange - I haven't had time because you guys have kept me busy on other stuff!! :D

I'm going the opposite way to you now Albert - that IMDB feature in My Videos has it's advantages. I'm sure it must be possible to replace file size with movie length in the shares view but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet - last day of work today and I actually did some for a change - don't worry, I still managed to carry out a few MP tweaks!!

Hey another one person who never sleeps! :D My sleep started at 2:45 last night and my alarmclock was set at 6:40. Damn shame I have to work...

I did install the 16:9 of Moving Pictures allright, but Ill leave that to rest then.

Moving Pictures looks nice and auto-updates. Another advantage is the ability to play movie-files with the standard Windows player which is registered to that extension. However does not work for ISO with VLC.

I need seperate players, because HD content plays jerky with VLC (using MPC-HC as it supports hardware acceleration of my videocard). And I need VLC for ISO, because MPC-HC does not support that.
Life is too complicated sometimes :(
So I now solve this in My Movies with a .vbs as external player. This runs a shell to the player registered to that extension.

Anyway, I'll be happy if you manage to come up with something for the standard My Movies, even if this is in the new year.
Keep up the good work!

:D yep, I sometimes wish I'd never learnt to turn a computer on - aren't they supposed to save use time???

Tomorrow I'm riding the motocross bike at the local track with my 2 boys and then we're having a BBQ (and some beers!) with some friends at home. Hopefully on Sunday the wind will come up and I can go kiteboarding - if there's no wind I'll go jetskiing - either way it will be good to get away from the computer for a while!

I hope it's not too cold up you way guys :D :D

Yeah Europe is a bit further and colder, at this moment in Holland like some 40F or 4C (dunno what you people use?).

I like kiteboarding a lot, but only to look at it. Never done it and probably never will. I'm 41 right now, a bit too scared to break my bones :D
Seen people doin it on Isla Margarita and Rhodes Island (Greece). Always gives me a rush to see that.
I believe NZ is also famous for it's kiteboarding spots??

Have fun mate!

Quick note. On your v5a distribution, the reason that the MP-TVSeries.formatRules import throws an error, is because there are two blank lines at the end of the file. Clear those out, and there's no issue at all.

Nice work on the skin!

Does someone know how get this skin to work with the SVTPlay plugin? Oh one more thing, this is the best looking skin if you ask me.
