About conditionnal visibility maybe i could shift the image to the right... i only need the first 3 menu to be "multiple" as i'd like to concentrate here the most important plugins : video/onlivevideo, tv/recorded tv/tv guide, music/radio/my lyrics

About your next release, did you note the value i gave you for grey in mini epg guide?

If i could do another suggestion, in this guide watched tv channel is orange and channel that can not be watched (because no more free tuners) are in blue... That would be more logical to swap that as orange is more like a warning color. I know you do not use this miniguide !

EDIT : i'm working to design basichome and this is now quite ok. But my wife (and i) find that unfocus item text is too dark, and i look into basichome.xml but found nothing. Can you tell me where i can change the color please ?
About music icon view, i do not know if you remember but i told you that for me text is missing under artist pictures. I'm unable to locate the file i should alter to achieve that, i'd like to compare with the same file on a skin that has the view like i'd like.

I first off want to thank everyone that has spent so much time in putting together what is most arguably the best Media Center software around. I will also throw in a little for Bleazle for the wonderful skin. It is just outstanding!

I have just implemented my first installation of MP and had a few technical challenges to overcome. After achieving what was thought to be the impossible in setting out on this journey, I have since moved on to tackle the quirky little things in my mind. I think it might be as simple as a setting that is off and I am hoping by posting this here I might get some advise. Like I mentioned I am using the Bleazle skin V8.1.1.0 and have successfully setup my tvguide.xml in MP. To accomplish this I am using the MC2XML executable combined with the import plugins provided by XMLTV. I have found no sort of order to the way it is displayed in the tvguide. I wonder if maybe someone could shed some light to how the guide is displayed and how I might be able to sort via numerical value instead of what seems to be random order.

I this this is the wrong place to post.. but will give you a bit of a hint.

in tv server config... select all channels and right click to add SID in front of name, then select all again to right click to renumber channesl by SID.

more details when posted properly....

Sorry for the slow reply, I've been doing a lot of skinning lately (so much for the current release being the last) - improving on a lot of things (imo) and adding/updating support for a few plugins.

I'll have a look at that - I don't really like to use blue text if I can avoid it though...

Ooops, sorry, I forgot to answer that. The attached file will give you text underneath icons. I can see that in the "Album Artists" view having the text showing would be a good thing but apart from that I don't like to have the text showing. Unfortunately the text is either "on" or "off" for all icon views though so I will make it an option in the next release. BTW, the icon view is one of the things I have improved for the next release - better blending of the thumbs mask and background..

About colors, this is your skin, then your colors! no problem with that, that was only a suggestion as, for me, orange is a warning color ! that seems to be easy to change it by myself anyway

For text under icons, doing an install option is really a great idea ! I'll test your file and tell you

I guess your family is happy to see you locked in a room skinning than to have you out on a loose risking your life !!

btw.. in the classic basic screen.. when video or music is on (with no audio turned on) will have no idea that something is playingn or not.

edit...and if you re not toooo busy, issue about how to select video (go back to a playing video from the classic screen).. only way I find to do this is go to TV and select the tv screen and enter. If I remeber correctly is was able to select a playing screen that is displayed on any screen on a corner.

This is a great skin! great job!

I have a question that may not belong here, but i have only seen this behavior in this skin, so i will try here first.

I use a touch screen as my display and only input for the client machine in my kitchen. basic home and the tvguide both work great, but database screens (like in my music, lists, icons, etc) not so much. touching the screen seems to be triggering "return" or "ok" instead of the mouse click in the location of the click. so, no matter where i touch the screen only the item currently highlighted gets selected instead of the item where i click.

I have read in the past that MP is not explicitly mouse compatible (therefore touchscreen too). but i usually have troubles with my home and basic home, not other things like the music screens.

Am I missing something here? is this just how it is based on how you built the skin?

Thanks for this great Skin!
I modified the mytvguide.xml to get a chance to to measure whether are sufficient space for records on the harddisk. The place is not perfect, but it works ...
BTW: The group-button for EPG doesnt work. On Blu3Wide it does ...

Bleazle > i foudn a little bug : on basic screen on the second row from left, the top button has no "black square" arround logo as for all others
