dman,

I have the same card and am able to build and debug MP. I live in the US with over the Air ATSC so is there anything that I can do to help you figure out why this card will not tune? The scan appears to find the channels now. The signal meter only appears to show signal for the what ever channel the card was tuned to prior to starting the MP configuration program. Maybe a tuning set up step is missing.

I have been using C# and .Net since Beta 1. I have not used DirectX for Video programming and don't have any good documentation for the dvblib.dll used for the Air2PC card.

FYI: just having this card installed in your PC causes the MP wizard to lockup (started from within MP itself). I also have a working BDA ATSC card installed and if leave the Air2PC card listed in the MP configured list of cards, no matter what setting I select (don't use Air2PC for LiveTV or recording) I can't watch any TV using my working card. The priorities don't appear to function either. If I delete both cards and just add back the BDA tuner then the BDA tuner card works fine.

Thanks for helping out this this issue

Please post a log after re-tuning so I can see what happens.
Try tomorrow's SVN release also.

I got this working with the BDA driver (contact the company that makes it and they will send it to you maybe)
Code:
  <capturecard commercialname="TechniSat DVB-PC TV Star PCI (BDA)" capturename="TechniSat BDA Digital Capture" devid="ven_13d0&dev_2103&subsys_210313d0&rev_02">
    <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
    <tv>
      <interface cat="capture" video="3" audio="4" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="2"/>
      <filters>
        <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft ATSC Network Provider"  	checkdevice="false"/>
        <filter cat="tunerdevice"     name="TechniSat BDA Digital Tuner"	checkdevice="true"/>
        <filter cat="capture"         name="TechniSat BDA Digital Capture"	checkdevice="true"/>
      </filters>
      <connections>
		<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice"	sinkpin="0"/>
		<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice"     sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture"		sinkpin="0"/>
      </connections>
    </tv>
  </capturecard>

The BDA driver for this card can be purchased from the current manufacturer of this card. They are not the original manufacturer, and are trying to recover the cost of developing the driver by charging for it.

http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISA...echnologies&include=0&since=-1&sort=2&rows=25

The price is $14.95

I am not afilliated with this company in any way. I would just like for people to be able to use this card with Media Portal.

I got it for free for buying the card; but its a pretty fair price if you ask me.

Today I did send a reminder to DD, since 09-2020 no news from them about new drivers. 3.0.2.211 x64 seems to work for me to, but DD told me, those where beta drivers, and some cards did have problems with them. Here you can find stable older drivers, Digital Devices Store But 3.0.3.224 did not work for me, so the latest stable...

I noticed that ... I fixed it, so if somebody downloads it from here it won´t confuse people... :) I deleted the old file and uploaded new file instead.

No experience at all with sat stuff, but do TBS provide (or suggest) viewing/test software that will work with their cards? (You'll need to stop MP TV Server running when you do this - use the 'Manual Control' tab in TV server config to stop/start it - as it won't share tuners with other software).

The problem is the combination of Digital Devices Card, Alphacryt Cam and TVE3 of Mediaportal. Unfortunately I dont have a solution, only two "Workarounds". First is to try native TVE35 with MP2, i did not have any continuity errors or hickups with that constellation. Second would be to change the cam, I tried RTL HD with a Deltacam...

I'm almost sure all has been written before in both the instructions and on this forum but, I thought I'd write about what I've learned in just one place in the hope it might help someone either starting out or, having issues with DVB-T aerial reception.
