[confirm] Can't cancel Recording (1 Viewer)

TV> Active Recordings> Click on Active Recording> Cancel> OK

The recording cancels but a couple of seconds later it starts recording it again.

All is working fine here, so can't confirm your issue.

After checking your logs you have SQL connection errors. Those could be the cause, but that's about all i can see from these logs.

Well it happened again.

I found the cause of the issue even though it's going to be hard to explain.

I don't seem to have any problems cancelling scheduled recordings. This issue only happens when MediaPortal decides to go into VCR mode.
By this I mean that MP frequently decides to record programs by time and not by title.
These programs show up in the Scheduled screen with no recording icon:

Let me give you an example. Looking through my Scheduled screen I find another Recording I never scheduled: Arthur's Perfect Christmas

So why is MP recording this show? Well lets take a look. I select Arthur's Perfect Christmas> Settings
Well what do we have here?

Wild Kratts. As you can see from the screenshot. This is a series recording. Since this show is on twice a day on this same channel. I set it the Recording type to Record every day at this time. Which would be every day at 4:30 5:00 pm. The problem is that on Wed 11-27 the show is airing at 2:30-3:00pm. So what's airing in it's place? Arthur's Perfect Christmas from 4:00-5:00pm. So it looks like instead of waiting for the next day when the show airs at it's regularly scheduled time. MP decides to record whatever is airing at the time regardless of the title.

"Record every day at this time" is intended to record by time rather than by title, so I'd say that is no bug...

Well then may I suggest a new recording option? "Record this show at this time". That way if the show doesn't air at that time or day nothing is recorded.

But that still doesn't explain why after I cancel them from the Active Recordings screen MP decides to start recording it again.
