Could you perhaps implement, that you can manually change teh backdrop path. Reason for this is, that all my backdrops are on my MP Server and i want to acess to them from my clients.
This is already possible. It is an option under Advanced Settings. See the attached screenshot. And FYI if you change this path you need to manually move your backdrops to the new location or Moving Pictures will redownload everything.
Thank you for this tip! I'm moving MP TV Server to a new machine. I installed the 64-bit version and most of the MP firewall rules were set to Public. I couldn't connect to the new TV Server from my old single-seat installation running 32-bit until I changed all MP-related firewall rules on the new machine to Private. Before I did...

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
Last time when I installed the...

On 5/24 for some reason we received 194 connections between 10:54 and 11:05
triggering a denial of service attack ban. The logs show it was lifted on 5/25,
but I still see the entry in iptables. I reset fail2ban and hopefully you're
working again."

Now with Version 1.37 x64 MP is near to perfect with repect to speed, robustness and funtionality. There is just one point where I have an Idea for further improvement. As I am not too interested in advetisments, I am using comskip to mark times of ads, which is normally working, as it should but produces an error when trying to...

Hi.
I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database".
Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...
