Ok,
I solved by creating a .bat file, inserted instead of the external player.
Unfortunately with the latest release of MP, playback with the external player and madVR has become impossible (continuous stuttering, and the rendering queue close to 0).
it is true that madVR has increased the consumption of resources with the last beta, but probably also MP with 1.23 has increased something.
So the only solution for me was to launch the movie from MP, the external player JRiver started, MP closes.
In this way everything flows smoothly.
Ok, I tried the MultiShortcut plugin,
I don't know if everything is installed correctly,
MP does not appear in the taskbar, but remains open in the background,
however I no longer have the problem of stuttering.
this is normal or has to be minimized in the taskbar ?
Thanks
i love how subtitles are implemented in the MP2 videoplayer, this is just perfect. 1080p playback is also very good. But video playback in MP2 is buggy when playing 4k material. Therefore: PLEASE add an option for an external video player! I'd LOVE to have VLC back as videoplayer, like in MP1! This works perfectly. You will make a...

That could have been useful alternative to the CEC Remote, shame they stopped making the Harmony. Apparently Windows hasn't had the codecs to read DVD since about Windows 8 or 10. I've been searching for a DVD playback codec but it requires another player. Is there a way for MP2 to read DVDs?
