[confirm] Coverflow - only mask showing (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have tried to reproduce this but cannot. Is running Windows XP and a two screen setup. Both playing music, draging between screens work and the coverflow is displayed correctly using Blue3wide.

I have tested 1.1.1 final and this does not crash. It may be a hardware specific problem, but whatever I do, I cannot reproduce it with 1.1.1 final. 1.2.0 crashes every time though.

The crash happens in listview, filmstrip and coverflow. So it is not specific for coverflow.

does it happen with bass and direct show?

Further update:

A clean install of 1.1.1 and then upgrade from 1.1.1 -> 1.2.0 Alpha went better. Now it doesn't crash. Then I uninstalled again, and installed 1.2.0 directly. Now this approach works fine, no more crashes. But coverflow remains broken.

So: my crashes are gone. Now I just need to figure out why the coverflow is wrong.

I'm running an XP machine and my coverflow images are also missing, just get the reflection images. All other layout views work.

Time to list some hardware/software

I'm running XP 32-bit SP3 on an AMD Athlon X64 with an integrated ATi Radeon Express 1250 chipset. Lowend, but it runs the rest of MediaPortal just fine. And the coverflow changes to the skinengine, introduced no new fancy stuff.

Running dual monitor setup with one on DVI and one on VGA.

What are your specs?

My specs are scarily similar. XP MCE 32-bit SP3 on AMD Athlon 64X2 (690 chipset) 2.3GHz, integrated ATI Radeon X1200, MSI K9AGM2-FIH motherboard, Compro Vista E700 Dual TV card. VGA into TV.

I just installed MediaPortal 1.2.0 Alpha on a virgin PC with XP SP3 (never had MP installed before) and here coverflow works.

This is a Pentium Dual-Core E5300 with integrated Intel Express chipset.

So...nothing consistant :/

I'll try and pop 1.1.1 on it and then 1.2.0 Alpha.

The fixes that Andy submitted recently (viewport-issue and addition of masking in thumbnails and filmstrip) have cured the issue for me. So...this should be fixed whenever 1.2.0 Beta is released. Or in recent SVN versions.
