    Just had a peek at home.cs:
    the "normal" home menu uses a percentage of "lDiffuseColor = lDiffuseColor & 0x00FFFFFF;" to draw the text of items regarding their offset to the currently selected item.

    Result, it works on the two PC's we use for watching TV :D I've not lost anything by the looks of it either, all channels etc still setup. Just my office PC won't connect, which I only use for testing things anyway (I tried updating that this morning as well), but I'll uninstall and install fresh on that. PS. Exported all settings...

    Sorry for not getting back sooner C.S. ....and thanks for the input! Should've said that.....the screen I posted previously .....is the 1st screen I was getting....and selecting 'back' or 'homepage' then takes me to a usable screen. Nothing apearing to be wrong with TV server at that point. Should also add that...I'm controlling with...
