DVB-T card with CI? (1 Viewer)

TwinhanDTV Cab-CI (http://www.twinhan.com/product_cable_2.asp) for Comhem cable-tv (with CA-module)

TwinhanDTV Ter-CI (http://www.twinhan.com/product_terrestrial_6.asp) for Boxer terrestial digital-tv (with CA-module)

Is it just with Mediaportal they wont work or does it not matter what program I use? Can I not watch encrypted channels on a computer with these cards?

The DVB-T card works with Twinhans own software (and also with myTheatre), this I have tested myself, so I can confim it.

I have not tested the DVB-C card, so I can not vouch for that.

It's a shame that the DVB-T card doesn't work (with encrypted channels) in MediaPortal yet.

Hi dman!

Yes, TwinhanDTV Ter-CI works fine in Mytheatre with the CI and CA modul but with the orignal drives (not the BDA drivs)

Twinhan has included some codes/info in there latest version of BDA driver 1.2.1.6 how to get the CI module working in front end applications...could that be a way to get the CI to work with MP ?

I'll let you know - I've only skimmed the stuff - I'm not great with C++ but if it's well explained then I don't see why not.

If you could get this to work, then the CI on the Twinhan DVB-C card would also work?

This would be greate because all DVB-C channels in Denmark are scrambled.

Yeah we know, no card to test (& keep) = no port of CI = no support at this stage.
Looking into getting a card... Twinhan were unresponsive trying Digital Rise...

Hi DMAN !

I understand, is there anything I can do to help out... I have the card and CI and CAM for Boxer in Sweden. I was in contact with Twinhan for several weeks ago and they did say that they would contact the MP project and support to be able to implement this CI/CAM.

I can contact them again and ask, also I can help with tests if you want. (I do not have an resorces my self to send you a card, sorry)
