I have everything working correctly now except for my recorded TV.

I have set it to record as mpeg so I am able to convert it using AutoGK. However I do not want to convert all recordings to XviD and when viewing the mpeg's in MediaPortal the video works but no sound is coming out. The same is for VLC. VLC gives the error that the .mlv decoder is not present... Or something to that effect.

Thankyou in advance once again.!

Not answering your question perhaps, but MPEG recording will be dropped for 1.0.1 due to various issues (like no sound), so you just might want to give TS-recording a go.

Ohh.. So no sound is a known issue. Has there not been a fix made or some other codec to use?

Would anyone by chance know if AutoGK supports converting TS format?
I may have to have a play around.

Hi, I found the problem in my configuration without PowerDVD. In the past I had configured the following setting: "Use internal Blu-ray menu player" and it works - slowly but it worked fine. As described, this suddenly stopped working after an update in the last few months. Yesterday, as a test, I deactivated this check box and it...

This may or may not be a pause, after all, this is a playlist, it can constantly change, I don’t very well understand the mechanism of working with playlists in online broadcasts. Well, here you need to look at what is happening in the Media Portal player. And find someone who understands how it works.

Hi, First off: there are some issues with the latest Mediaportal (32bits vs 64bits), so that is one of the issues you're stumbling with. If you take the previous version (1.31) it should work as expected. For IPTV there is also a different option (with different pros and cons): Onlinevideos. I'm using that sometimes for my IPTV as...

That fixed the problem. I just manually installed VC_redist.x64.exe and reinstalled 1.32 64-bit. Thanks for that. A couple of things; the deployment tool for 1.32 doesn't remove the previous version when you're updating from 1.31 to 1.32 and "MediaPortal TV Server" gets installed even when you choose to install the client only. I...
