Filmstrip (1 Viewer)

Hello I am new to Mediaportal but Im already falling in love with it! I did notice that in various screenshots the filmstrip view has covers going all the way across the screen while mine only has 4 covers at a time. Any thoughts?

Hi,
the number of displayed covers depends on view mode (list, small symbols, big symbols, cover) and your screen settings (16:9,4.3).

I tried going through those settings but none give me the view I am looking for. Could it be that I am temporarily using a laptop at 1280x800?

That's just a skin designer putting more focus on the fanart, which forces them to use less screen realestate for the posters/details. So check to see if the skin developer is keeping the old version up to date, look for another skin that does not focus on fanarts (plenty available), or get involved in skin editing yourself.

It is impossible to make something that makes everybody happy, but that's why there is such a large selection available. So you just have to hope there is a skin available made by somebody that shares your same idea on what looks nice.

According to your screenshots your using StreamedMP (Fanart Style). You can re-run the installer or run modify from 'Programs and Features' in control panel and select 'Default' style for MovingPictures.
