I've uninstalled everything... MP, SAF, all extensios, clean registry

I've decided to restart from zero!
I've installed: MediaPortalSetup_1.1.0_BETA-1_rev23491 , Setup-MediaPortal-svn-1.0.4.23831 , saf400beta18.
I don't replace core.dll, which currently is version 1.0.4.23831
I've watched to file H.264 file, 1920x1080, DXVA is on. First file with MP3 audio, second with DTS sound. At this time I haven't tried subtitles.
In debug mode (for generation of logs): It works! (Haali is disposed)
In normal mode: it doesn't works! (Haali isn't disposed)

Replaced core.dll with version 1.0.4.39820. Watched the same videos.
In debug mode (for generation of logs):first time crashed MP playing twice the same video. Next time I've watched about ten times the videos, going back through menu, and watched xVid file. It Works! Memory was correctly free up!
In normal mode: IT WORKS!!! (Haali is disposed :D:D:D)

:D

I'll investigate later which one of my 3rd party extension is responsable for stopping me to watch HiRes video!

Can this be fixed? When not, you have to move subtitles and name them properly for every movie, that you download. Kind of destroys the experience of only controlling the HTPC with the remote only.

I guess you have to move those subtitles (or download those from some illegal site :)) with a mouse in the beginning. So why not move and rename those subtitles at the same time?

Of course the bug in MP should fixed, but it would be recommended to use MPC-HC subtitle engine as it allows usage of DXVA.

the movies, i get, have the subtitles in the .\Subs directory with them, so directvobsub preffered where you can predefine a number of possible locations for search for them.

    Hi

I saw there is svn version of this fix in 23871. I compiled that svn in tried. Result: playing Onlinevideos and then stopping video there(onlinevideo) causes mp to hang totally.
If i use later(there were 2 core.dll posted here) version of posted core dll, everything is fine. Latest core.dll here and svn version of this fix has some differences.

    regards,

Ok, I've upgraded to the last SVN (1.0.4.23831), and download again the last core.dll (version 1.0.4.39820).
I've set H.264 render to MPC, DXVA on. I've tried with an H.264 mkv file: I can't see anything... :(
My iMon display shows the correct total time of the file, but the progress time remains blocked on 0:00...
whereas .If I stop the file, the Haali filter is correctly disposed.
If I play a normal divX file, non HiRes, everything works fine, with or without sub! I have the video, the sound, and when I stop, Haali is disposed.
With the previous core.dll (1.0.4.17407) I can see H.264 file: with DXVA on, Haali isn't disposed, with DXVA off, Haali is disposed.

I've attached a couple of logs... I don't know which are the shorter ones... :sorry:
    I'll make some tests tomorrow

After I've reinstalled everything (see here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-external-players-55/haali-not-disposed-after-stopping-video-56153/index19.html#post522564) and after some tests, it seems is "my TvSeries" which blocks the Hi-Res video. In windowed mode, if I play an H.264 video, it doesn't start, but I'm able to stop it and go back to menu. In full screen mode, it works! I can see correctly the video, but I don't know if Haali is correctly disposed...

I downloaded the newest core.dll file from this post: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/codecs-external-players-55/haali-not-disposed-after-stopping-video-56153/index17.html#post522129 and now Haali and AC3 filter configuration seems to dispose of properly after closing MP.

I haven't done any extensive testing, but I tried two different h.264 movies, and after stopping them and closing MP the icons are no longer in my system tray.

I just wanted to throw out there that it seems to have fixed my problem, but I'd have to do more tests to be positive. Thanks!
