Has anyone else seen this? Not sure if it is skin related.. It doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect, it just looks odd...

I think it is a partial recording. You have a schedule setup to record 21:00 to 21:30 on that day on 5 HD ?? MP is basically saying it is only going to record part of that program

I have 6 tuners, so that shouldn't be an issue??

Oh, and it does seem to record correctly - just looks strange!

    Hi psykix

I agree with jameson_uk - seems to be a partial recording. It doesn't necessarily reflect that MP thinks it can't record the whole programme. The more important question is what are the actual timeframes on the schedule?

I don't understand what you are saying!

The whole programme recorded successfully.. I just checked and nothing else was set to record at that time..

I use DJBlu's plugin to do series link, so it was set to record using that.

    Baffled!

You might have set a schedule 'every week at this time' based on a program that was running 9 - 9.30, or 8.45 - 9.30, or whatever the time was. I don't see how we can tell this.

If the whole program recorded, then it might have been 8.35 - 9.30, so that the pre-record time included the remaining 5 minutes. You'll have to check what it says for it in recorded TV.

This is not an indication of a problem. It is a feature. If you have a schedule set that spans two programs in the EPG, it will show this sort of thing to indicate that neither program will record fully. Only one recording will be made.

I have pre-record and post-record times both set to zero.

I'm not worried, I was just more intrigued as to what it meant!

The other thing I have noticed actually, is that as the record date gets nearer, then the half red changes to be completely red (i.e. looks normal)

Odd... the half shaded is meant to be shown when MP does not think it is recording the whole program (can only happen for a time based schedule)

Could be a skin issue or a bug. Would be good to know what shows when you go into TV config for this schedule.

I'll have a look the next time it occurs.. I was just scanning through to see if I could see another instance of it, and noticed that tomorrow's soaps which are on a series link are not showing as red, but they are scheduled to record.. There must be something a little awry with either the skin, or DJBlu's plugin.

It appears to be purely cosmetic, so I'll try to just forget about it for now!
