yes, I have the devolo dlan (which is homeplug compatible).

At first I used the 80mb device, but when I swiched my system to HD i bought the 200mb device, wich is working flawless in my config.
I have a net throughput of about 60mb which is enough for HD videos and Streaming.

My NAS is located in the basement (Qnap-201) and is connected via a fritzbox 7170 to the homeplug adapter.

My power lines are about 10 years old, just for info.

    cheers

I'm using the Netgear av 200 and I can stream HD between both. Of course it will be highly dependant on cable length, noise level on the line and cable quality. Good luck with your setup.

to be on the safe side... if you want to stream HD you should use the 200mb device. I often had stuttering in hd movies with the 85 mbit, thats why I bought the 200mb one.

But be adviced: those devices (85/200) are not compatible, even though they can be used in parallel.

    cheers

I'm using Homeplug AV (200mbps) ZyXEL myself (P660HWP router and 2 x PLA-401 adaptors). Router lovely and neat with onboard Homeplug AV but general configuration not very intuitive! PLA adaptors easy to use. Figured might as well go for Homeplug AV even though MP Client is just streaming standard definition TV; AV meant to have improved resilience to noise as well as improved speed.
Once set up have had no problems at all, adaptors don't get too warm; router gets quite warm.
AV gives extra headroom for additional MP Clients (hope, hope!!).

Hi, it looks like the Client's server connection settings got corrupted somehow and were reset, hopefully this is an easy fix. Open MP2-Client, navigate to Settings->General->Connectivity->Home server. In the menu on the left there may be an option Detach from home server, if there is click it and acknowledge the dialog that pops up...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ. In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
