How do I recognize that HW MPEG2 si working? (1 Viewer)

when u play an mpeg2, hardware acceleration should double the amount of FPS(frames per second)
in australia we have 25fps on pal tv (analogue and HD), so when u play something with hardware acceleration it plays at 50 fps...that means HW acceleration is on
u can tell the fps (and other things) by HOLDING SHIFT AND PRESS 1 ....try it
it toggles on and off
when using the cyberlink codecs ..u must 1st go into powerdvd and select the PUREVIDEO option and select the "BOB Deinterlacing" in the dropdown list
u may have to save and reload the app a few times for it to show
in MP make sure u have HW on
done..if hw acceleration works (and it requires up to date and correct drivers/software/hardware) u notice no interlacing..ever

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
