    1) Did you try with SVN 16310 or it's now committed ?
I updated my htpc a couple of days ago. I used SVN 16281 for this update. The patch is still not included in SVN and from my point of view the patch is still needed. Therefor I integrated my patch again and exchanged the modified components. The patch is still working, but the modified sources at Sourceforge are out of date, because the team changed something in the modified files.
If there is interest I can upload the new modified sources tomorrow evening.

    2) Have you managed to have working the analog part ? I scan channels but nothing is found...
I don't have any analog signal here, so I'm not able to test it. I only use the analog part to connect my old VCR with the htpc via the cvbs input. My patch only fixes a minor issue in the analog part, which has to be fixed to get the hybrid card function working. The problem is that the timeshift buffer files aren't released, when the server changes to the other part of MP. These files are still locked when the known error "Audio/Video not found" occurs, but I haven't found the reason for this.

Hi guys,Hi misterd i'm glad to hear your patch is still working but i ask myself why after all this months since your patch nobody want to do something about it.Simone i can't help you with the analogic part because it's disabled but first i've tried to get it work but no luck.As misterd already know i even tried to compile the patch myself but i'm not good with C++,so in the end i'm using MP with DVB-S and DVB-T without the hybrid config. but it's a pain in the ass turning MyTV off everytime i want to switch from a DVB_S channel to a DVB-t chennel(or viceversa).Maybe we can get Gibman attention because he had a problem like this with multiseat config. and solved or atleast take a look at some of our logs. What else can i say if you decide to take a look at this problem let me know and i will be glad to do all the testing stuff.:(

I've just added the patch although I didn't like two parts of it as well which I commented in the changelog...

Now all hybrid users test latest SVN and tell us about your experience.

EDIT: wow - chemelli was fast :)

:D rtv for committing the patch to svn.

Regarding you concerns in the changelog, I totally agree with you, but I don't see an other solution. The reference in the StopTimeshifting() method is needed. Otherwise the server can't check if it should stop the other part of the hybrid card, which is already stopped in the StartTimeshifting() and therefor the server will stop the current part of the hybrid card.
The change in the GetUser() is really critical. Therefor I have checked almost every condition to be sure that it won't impact anything, but I can't guarantee it. It is needed for finding the right part of the hybrid card and have a different behavior in the card allocation algorithm.

IMHO the whole hybrid card handling should be changed. I think everything would be easier, if a hybrid card is really only one card in the server. The server should only differ at very low level between the parts. Currently a hybrid card are still several cards and in only some parts not. This make everything very difficult to handle in my opinion. But this would require major changes in the card handling etc. I tried to create such an implementation by myself, but until now I had no luck.

Hi,first of all i want to say :D to misterd for making this patch and to RTV for including the patch in the SVN and to all of you guys for tryint to do MP better each day.MisterD your patch is working for real:D i did some testing this evening and after some "pain" i managed to make it work.I can tell you that MP seems a bit slower now but not much, hybrid config. now working well(i've tested without the analog part but if you want i will test that too)and some things in "manual control" seems a bit different so let me know if this is normal:I have the tuners in that order
    1)DVB-S
    2)DVB-T
    3)Analogic
    4)RadioWeb Stream

So,if i am starting the timeshift on a DVB-S channel the DVB-T tuner become also a DVB-S tuner(and viceversa if i do the timeshifting on a DVB-T channel)and when i use MyTv, inside the streams window now are 2 streams before the patch was always only one stream. This was a bit strange for me the first time but everything work ok.Tomorow i will post some logs and some screenshots so you can take a look.Last thing,if some of you guys dont't manage to make you hybrid work try to disable the EPG on one of your tuner because for me that did the trick;)

    Thanks again!!:D
