Is there a way to use either of the free services of mc2xml or zap2xml instead of having to pay for Schedules Direct?

zap2it labs stopped providing free guide data in the US a long time ago. There may be some free alternative, but paying for schedulesdirect was cheaper than spending the time to find something else and make it work.

Hey guys... just wondering if you could lend a hand.

I've got everything set up with the patches in the 1st post.
Video and Audio look fine in Arcsoft Total Media Utility, but in Media Portal, I only see a small box of video in the middle of the screen.
Like a postage stamp in the middle of the screen.

I've uninstalled Vista Codec Pack and am running CoreAVC codec.
I did notice that I cannot see any arcsoft codecs to select in the drop down menu of MP config.

Any suggestions? This is the last piece of my puzzle. And it's killing me.

    Thanks.

If you have Arcsoft Total Media Theater installed you should be able to select "Arcsoft Video Decoder" in the "H.264 Video decoder" drop-down on the TV page in MP config.

Also, what resolution are you running out of your STB? Have you tried different resolutions? Im not sure that would cause that issue, but stranger things have happened.

Quick question for you guys. What are you using for the channel changing on the STB? IR Blaster or Firewire? I've been trying to get a firewire solution working, but for some reason the IR Server plugin is doing double key presses and I can't figure it out so I might switch to IR Blaster. Any thoughts?
