We should move on. I'm already working on a rewrite for analog cards, and those changes will be ported to HD PVR later on, but therefor it should be working as good as possible.

    1. According to the date in the first date, the version is very old compared to the last public build. There were many other changes during this period which can effect the switching times. I just saw in the code that the quality settings are not applied correctly :(

    2. Just a side note. Only if the encoder reports is correct maximum bitrate it can be used.

    5. I assume that this is because of the changes in TvServer in the meantime and shouldn't be the result of my modifications.

I will code the next changes this week and will provide a new build here, but this won't be the last changes ;)

Thanks MisterD! I look forward to further testing....

In reference to #5, you are correct. This has nothing to do with your changes, it did the same thing when I tried the second 1.0 SVN...

Thanks for your help guys... looks like my problem was with the deinterlace on the on board ASUS p5q-em motherboard.
I put in an Nvidea 8800 that I had lying around, and I'm all good!
Only drag is that I really wanted to just have the 1 hdmi cable from HTPC to AMP.

Any suggestions for an HDMI video card that's quiet?
I'll probably be looking to replace this one with something passive (silent).

Thanks again... Media Portal + Directv (serial) + HD-PVR for the win!

Hey guys, just read through this thread and I'm not exactly sure what I need to do in order to integrate the HD PVR with MediaPortal. I'm still fairly new to MP, but I'd really like to get this up and running so if anyone could help me out with maybe a fairly concise step by step guide, it would be greatly appreciated. I downloaded the patch that Garry posted but I'm not exactly sure how to install it into MP.

Just to be sure, is this actually fully operational yet?

Here is the next test version. I ported some code from my rewrite to the HDPVR. This should improve the channel zapping times, but the graph building could take a little bit longer. Therefor the graph building is a bit optimized.

Please post your test results including logs.

@edit: Removed as it isn't working. New version can be found in another post.

I'm going to ask a stupid question - can we use your new .dll with the latest svn? Or do we still need to use the last build in the OP for driver support?

Yay - So with the 2-15 svn installed I just copy this .dll over and start testing right? Do you want logs attached here in this thread?

    MisterD,
Unfortunately this one didnt work :( When you open the TV Server Config the tuners are shown as 'unknown', and under the Manual Control the tuners show up as N/A. So I couldnt get it far enough to test :(

Ok guys, I'm back. I had my first HD-PVR go bad on me and I just got my replacement the other day. Just did a full reinstall of the TV3 server cause the old HD-PVR was still showing up and the new one was in there too....anyway, long story short, I finally got it set back up again. My schedulesdirect is working (Thanks WileECoyote for your suggestion on that one) and I got the Hauppauge IR Blaster working using the modified Serverblaster from another thread. I'm able to preview, etc in the TV Server Config screens, but when I load up MP and goto My TV, the TV initially starts on (I've tried this both ways), but nothing is being displayed. If I try to switch channels, I see the IR Blaster change the channel, but then MP hangs. It seriously goes to 50% CPU utilization and I have to ctrl-alt-del it to shut it down. I can't for the life of me figure this out. I'm not seeing anything special in the logs to point me in a specific direction. I've even tried My TV in both Blue3 and StreamedMP and I get the same result both times. Any ideas of why this might be happening?? Thanks to all of you.
