It seems, that the xml files name is not correct. Normaly mc2xml. Names that file xmltv.xml. But mp wants a file named tvguide.xml
you can set an output parameter at the commandline:
    >mc2xml.exe [...] -o tvguide.xml

@antidot, thank you for the Perl file. I think I was able to compile it with the DLLs included in the exe. My MediaPortal machine doesn't have Perl and it works fine there. I moved the source code to our repository, tidied up the repository a bit, but I get an error when compiling. However, I can suggest a workaround that (hopefully) will work for you. The workaround is to: Completely uninstall MP, MySQL, and MariaDB. Perform a...

The Plugin needs to be updated so that it works with the current version of the SQL library, the source code is only for 1.6.4.0, there is no source code for 1.6.4.2. Therefore, it is impossible to update the plugin. And since it is impossible to update it, it will not work.

Apologies Pablik. My bad. I neglected to run WMI Manager and check Properties as you advised. Sure enough, it produced this error: I tried to run winmgmt /resetrepository, but there were conflicts with running services. So I stopped those services (Malwarebytes & IP Helper), then stopped the winmgmt service. I was then able to run...
