Not helpful possibly but I had that (on several PCs) when restarting, a rebbot start was fine though!
1.10 seems to have fixed that (but not saying it is perfect as I use little of MP's capabilities).

I have experienced the same with old versions of StreamedMP, so i switched to Titanius some time ago.
My plan was to upgrade to 1.9, but not before it's working again.
(Did try with 1.9 before same issue)
Now trying with a backup version and BrowseTheWeb & HTPCInfo plugin disabled.

The problem is we have a family member who relies on MiniDisplay and I don't know if upgrading the set up is going to spoil compatibility with that plug in. The set up...
