well thing is you can't have all different overlays on different positions on different screens, it's a limitation/bug in MP. If you want to move it on home you can't have different looking overlays for music/video since the condition player.hasvideo is true when music is playing for some reason.

Awesome - not fan of the menu in the middle, but it still looks cool!
I do however like that home is in the middle, and basic home on the left. nice to have a visible difference.

ohhh just an idea, any chance the second menu /submenu (i.e. the one with "Shutdown"/Video Wallpaper etc) could be available for all options on the menu, possibly customizable?

i.e. i would want TV, with submenu Recordings, Scheduled, Guide
myVideo/Moving Picutres with a submenu for Trailers
Muisic with submenu for YahooMusic Videos,Now playing etc

hope that makes sense? seems like a good way to have a simple menu with lots of options.

No, it is way too much work. Especially to make it customizable.

I am confused why the basichome was changed. I thought mattsk88 said it was "finalized" in this post. Is there going to be two options? Personally I don't like the menu being in the middle at all.

If im not mistaken, the "basic home" has the menu on the left, and "home" has it centred. just a pity you cant turn off home when you use basic home.

Ok I'll clarify, what I have posted and is basically finalized is Basichome.xml - There will be a generator and you have to tick start with basichome in the configuration.

Spuck has made a myhome.xml which will load if basichome isnt selected to load. There is no generator for this home menu. It was created differently to give a choice and also so users don't get confused between the two.
