Everybodies talking about beta testing but come on people. I know calling stuff beta is hot nowadays and all but there really shouldn't be any need for beta testing a skin... at least in my opinion.
Just let the skinners do there awesome job and wait a bit.

It will be released when ready We are both spending the majority of our free time and have made great progress. Anyway this thread needs another screenshot
I have attached a Screenshot of the Basichome Menu, it is even better in action with all the animations etc everything slides onto the screen when opening and slides off when going to another window, looks nice
The other big benefit is I have been working hard to get a menu generator so people can have customised basichome menus to suit their configuration.
What you see above is completely generated by the Menu Generator so this will be very handy!

However, it does look so similar to the homescreen (<- if that is the homescreen), that it might couse confusion (only difference is highlighted text size?). Or am I missing something?
Would be great to find a way to not use "home" (except the "plugins" subsection, which could be accessed via basic home).

What do you mean by not use home? The other screen shot is myhome.xml. This is basichome.xml and you can add whatever you want to the menu so if you only use Movies Music and TVSeries thats all that has to be on there using the menu generator.

I think 1.38 is easier, it's a minor addition, judging by the lack of bugs, 1.39 is still a long way off.
Ideally, the TuningParameters settings would be moved to MPE1, along with all the skins. Then any minor fixes could be updated quickly.
