Hi there!

I used the Cybrdisplay plugin till this day and was very satisfied with it. Unfortunately the display doesn't work under MP since two days. The only thing I changed was installing the "Self Contained Web Server/Interface" and the "iPiMP" plugin. Both should not influence the display plugin in my opinion.
Because of that I tried to switch to MiniDisplay plugin - with the same issue. The background light is being switched on when starting MP, but nothing is shown in the display. Also the "turn the display off on exit" feature doesn't work anymore.
In the logs there apears an error, but I can't do anything with it.

Unfortunately I don't know how to look the firmware :(
Nevertheless, at use of other option, instead of SG_VFD.dll V3 (VFD with old firmware), I see nothing on VFD.

Simone, as I have understood, you are the developer of this plug-in. Whether you want to make so that a variable "_IdleTimeout" could be adjusted by a configurator, instead of had the constant value equal 5 seconds?

Chemelli, don't keep quiet, reply please. :D

Inside iMON manager you have a screen which report both the program version and the firmware version.
Please attach MediaPortal.log with MiniDisplay "extensive logging" enabled.

New features won[t be added before 1.0.1.

Simone

Hello, Simone!
Upcoming MediaPortal 1.0.1 Release :)
Would you like to think about "_IdleTimeout"?

I really like this plugin, however my Imon Pad is not working while minidsiplay is enabled

I have selected the soundgraph vfd properly I think, and all kinds of stuff are displaying nicely, it's just that the remote is not working anymore.

    Any ideas?

Is it possible to get Mini Display to show information on a Video file when using an external player (specifically the KM Player) ?

I've managed to customise the display for Music (excellent work by the way !) but all I get on .avi is 'Fullscreen Video'

MP1.0.0.0, Soundgraph LCD (working for all bar Video !) and XP sp3

    Thanks

    Chris

It happened to me 2. You have to play with imon manager and reenable frontview. Change a couple of settings in frontview (like fonts or sizes) so that a new config is loaded and restart. Repeat and rinse :)
Try if it works like that.

Hi all, is there anyone in here, that can help me make a change in the minidisplay. When Mp boots, the display reads line#1 Mediaportal line#2 (the time). I want the time to be shown, together with the tv channel when watching TV. So line#1 will show (time) - (Tv channel).

As i can see it, in the minidisplay.xml theres a "variable" called #Time in a Parse entry, when MP boots, tried to copy this to the watching TV entries, different places. But it don't seem to work. When tv is not active, the place for EBG - switches between time and EPG info. But as soon the TV starts, it stops.

One guy at IRC, told me that i should change the code in c#, wich i unfortunatly, don't have knowledge about. Is there anyone in here, who might be able to help me out here, or point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance

    /michael

    Hi frenzy,

unforunately that didn't help out :(
I also had to do a complete reinstall because of some MBR problems after installing a new hdd. With the fresh install of Windows, Imon and MediaPortal, the issue keeps the same, also the error message keeps the same. So I retried your advice and again - it didn't work.
    Some other advices?
Very lousy without a functional display :(

    Greetings,
    Stefan
