MiniDisplay: iMON driver code cleanup, please test ! (1 Viewer)

I am running imon V 7.61 with frontview enabled (otherwise MCE remote does not work).
With minidisplay enabled (and settings to keep imon running) MCE remote does still work but the display is still controlled by frontview...with frontviews messages.
Sometimes (e.g. when going back to main menu) a short MP message is displayed for 1-2 secs, but then frontview takes over again.

Hi, I'm getting the exact same results as Flintstone. If "Leave Frontview Active " is ticked , my harmony remote (set up as a MCR remote) works but the display keeps swapping between MiniDisplay and Frontview , and sometimes both at the same time.
Minidisplay has always worked perfectly for me if the remote is set as an Imon remote in the Imon setting control panel, but I use my harmony as a MCE remote for stability.

My Details-
Windows XP , SP3
Case - Silverstone CW02 with Imon LCD
Imon details-
Imon Manager ver. 7.61.0522(Silverstone)
Imon Firmware ver. 0x380102, LCD HID OEM.

Any ideas?

My Harmony One works out of the box. Doesn's matter if iMonManager is set to iMon Remote or MCE remote.
I only have to adopt the mappings.
In general you have get the original remote working first. After that import the remote codes or learn your 555 from the original remote.

I have got the Antec Micro Fusion with Imon. The only thing I can do is starting the HTPC with the 555.

Is it working with the standard MiniDisplay or are you using the edited one from this Thread?

Which device do I have to pick in the Harmony's settings (the case, the imon pad or the display)?

Please test using this thread first post plugin so we are sure we get all the same result.
When you report a bug make it clear in your post with a simple line, like:

BUG: cannot make MCE work using iMON Manager 7.61 and the attached config file

Where did you attach your Harmony 555 settings? Can't see it, maybe I am blind today

Still dont know which device to selected in the harmony.

Ok, here we are: now IRSS needs to be fixed so you can get rid of iMON Software as I did

Do you already know when there will be a fixed IRSS Suite which will work out of the box for the imon remote?

Hello,

I gave the new dll another try:

• fine with 7.4
• but fails with 7.61 and imon avtive (if imon manager disabled display is fine)

I would suggest downgrading the Imon Software to 7.2 or 7.4 as it seems to work better with those versions.
My Frontview setting is set to: always.


Despite the fact that it's working there are some minor problems:

- Standby issue when no media is played after resuming from standby or starting MP
- After resuming from standby sometimes the contrast setting seems to get lost, so you either see nothing because it's too low or to high. This seems to be somewhat random as I could not reproduce this.
