In MP setup, changing disk drive quota for recording (D:\ for example, instead of C:\) and closing setup.
Next setup open, the drive letter is always C:\

Thanks for MrHipp trying resolving this issue.
Unfortunately, starting configuration.exe, changing drive quota, closing setup and restarting setup, drive letter remains C:\

    Short explanation:
MP newer keeps track of what drive the user has selected. The dropdown list is simply a list of drives that could store recordings. And the first one is always show per default. Of course this could be changed, but I don't see the point.

    I hope I didn't disappoint you now :D

    Regards

    Hello Mr Hipp,
Happy to see you have read my posts :D
So, I'm french then sorry, I don't know all smoothnesses of the english language.
Must I understand that, when in setup configuration, I have choosen D:\ one time, if I go in mp configuration, it's logical to see C:\ because of alphabetical order but, the disk quota retained in MP for records will be D:\ ?
Am I right ? If that is then, it's wonderful :p
Many thank's for your answer :)

The drive your recordings will end up on is not determined by what you drive you select in disc quota. That is set in the capture card - Recording folder field.

So MP First checks what drive it should be (from the properties of the capture card), then uses that drive to see if quota is ok.

    I hope this explains things.

Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...
