Moving Pictures 1.0 skin files for Monochrome 2.9 (2 Viewers)

I will be posting my TVSeries 2.5 files (for Monochrome 2.9) for those interested when I finish testing them, there's a lot more screens there so I want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I have made some updates to my skin files (see first post).

• Minor updates for MovingPictures 1.0.2 (beta 3)
• Fixed problems with video and music overlays
• Cleaner look for filmstrip view
• Working on a more consistent look between MovingPictures and TVSeries
• Consolidated images between MovingPictures and TVSeries
• Changed media image files to white logos with black borders

I modified my BasicHome.xml to work with the latest InfoService plugin, but I only use it for weather (although I think I kept RSS as well even though I don't use it). Is that all you need?

If so, I can post my BasicHome.xml tomorrow, but it's heavily customized. Do you just use the standard 2.9 BasicHome.xml?

Yes, I use infoService for weather and RSS. I use the BasicHome.xml (the original one). I assume that's standard. Yah, please post your BasicHome.xml. I'll try it. I appreciate it.

Here's my BasicHome.xml as well as the images I use (all inside the RAR file). I use ForTheRecord, so the TV related icons may not work for you.

Thanks very much for posting the file. But what I am looking for is just 5 button on the main home screen.... like (weather, music, video, setting, others) and RSS is scrolling right below it. And also the current weather is show on the top right corner of the main screen. Just like one came with the original.

I will try to look at your BasicHome.xml to see how you get the new version of InfoService to work. Any suggestion where to look?

Actually, on mine, as well as the Monochrome 2.9 original BasicHome, the weather shows only at the top right corner, except when you hover over the weather icon, then it shows you 5-day weather.

I copied and pasted the new InfoService changes to the original BasicHome.xml, give it a try.

I have put together some skin files for Moving Pictures 1.0 Beta 3 for those of us that are still using Monochrome version 2.9 for whatever reason.

Could you incorporate these files along with the MP-TvSeries and info service mods into 1 file or an updated version of 2.9?
