This seems to be a common problem, I saw much the same as did others. What has changed with 1.18 final mpecore.dll I have never seen this with previous MP1 versions including 1.18pre? I fully accept that it seems to be an issue with MS Defender, I had no problem on my desktop PC which uses a far more, supposably, stringent AV but again what has changed?

MP1 MP2 Update from 1.21 to 1.31 or 1.32 - no live TV with MP, recording and playing is working - solved DE

It's working after some hours search: the Auto3D plugin which I haven't used for years was corrupting the start of the TV live stream from server to MP. If anyone has a similar problem - disable all old plugins and then enable one after another :-)
