    I've tried a few different ways of uploading the video file, but it's too big.. tried zipping it, and it was too big (48Mb) .. tried a spllit file (using izarc) and the file type is invalid.. any other ideas?

    I have 1X 48Mb zip, or 1X 42Mb .ts (HD channel) and 1X 18Mb .ts (SD channel) plus their relative xml files (if needed)

    attached are the logs from watching:
    TVOne(HD)->TV2(HD)->TV3(HD)->FOUR(SD)->Prime(SD)->U(SD)

    so, I can ftp the other stuff to a server if that helps (PM me for details).. otherwise, any other ideas how I can get the recorded HD and SD files to you?

    tia.

    See the instructions from 'Providing the raw Transport Stream data to the team' onwards at the bottom of this page - TS Dumps - MediaPortal Wiki - to upload to our FTP server. (Ignore the bit about generating raw ts dumps - I want the .ts files you already created)

    Thanks,

    Tony

    thanks for that. so, do you want me to make the timeshift/recordy thing the way that page explains, or just upload the files I mentioned I already had?

    OK - thanks for the .ts files.

    Please try the attached TsReader.ax - I'd like the logs whether it works or not :)

    I think you've done it again.. top man.

    not 100% sure but 90%.
    two of the channels (TV2 and TV3) aure usually HD, but I'm not sure the programmes on at the moment are being broadcast in HD (they're not widescreen anyway, and one is 'golden gilrs'), but I'm not sure how that works (is the broadcast still HD of the programme isn't? :confused:)

    anyhoo.. I think TVOne is broadcasting in HD (the adverts looked pretty high def) so (IIRC)the logs are of me going:
    TV2 (HD channel, may not be an HD broadcast though)
    ->UTv (SD channel)
    ->TV3 (HD channel, may not be an HD broadcast)
    ->TV1 (HD channel on advertising, which I think was HD)
    ->UTv (SD channel)

    happiness ensues so far though!:D

    There are several SD/HD channel changes in the TsReader log, so it looks like it's working fine :)

    HD channels are normally HD all the time - 'SD' program content is upscaled by the broadcaster before transmission.
