I don't know. AFAIK "Fire OS" is a current android (6?) with "amazon flavour" (e.g. no GApps). I know that it is possible to run a lot of apps on them via sideloading (via adb) but I don't know if there are any "showstopper criteria" that would hinder an app from running on Fire OS. E.g. KODI is running when sideloaded. I think that KODI was in amazon's app store once but amazon removed it and I can't remember why it was removed.I do not know anything from fire devices. I will give sideloading a try (presumably next weekend) and can report if it runs at all. If positive it would be great if it could be added to amazon's store because updating would be much more easy (and you might have many possible new customers ).

The last couple of betas have not been working for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled both MpExtended and MPTVscheduler. If I select MX Player for playback. As soon as I hit play the app crashes. If use the internal player. Playback starts for a brief second then goes back to the previous screen.
Using Ampdroid everything works perfectly.

And add the ability to hide unwanted functionality? Like: TV, EPG, Recording, Shedullers, TVServer etc...
