Do you plan to make it available for fire devices in amazon's app store?

I do not know anything from fire devices. Can they run any android apps?

I don't know. AFAIK "Fire OS" is a current android (6?) with "amazon flavour" (e.g. no GApps). I know that it is possible to run a lot of apps on them via sideloading (via adb) but I don't know if there are any "showstopper criteria" that would hinder an app from running on Fire OS. E.g. KODI is running when sideloaded. I think that KODI was in amazon's app store once but amazon removed it and I can't remember why it was removed.

I will give sideloading a try (presumably next weekend) and can report if it runs at all. If positive it would be great if it could be added to amazon's store because updating would be much more easy (and you might have many possible new customers :)).

    Regards

I uploaded the apk to Amazon test service. It seems to be ok (after I changed the code) so the next beta may supports fire os but I can not test it because I don't have any Amazon devices.

New 1.2.0 beta is available on the Play Store.

    - NEW feature: My Video support.
    - NEW feature: Moving Pictures support.
    - NEW feature: TV Series support.
    - NEW feature: Display genres in the program details screen.
    - Bug fixes and performance improvements.

This version (may) works on Amazon devices with Fire OS.

The last couple of betas have not been working for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled both MpExtended and MPTVscheduler. If I select MX Player for playback. As soon as I hit play the app crashes. If use the internal player. Playback starts for a brief second then goes back to the previous screen.
    Using Ampdroid everything works perfectly.

    Android 4.4.2

    Please
    1. Leave the beta program in the Google Play Store.
    2. Wait until Google processes your request (about 5-10 mins).
    3. Remove 1.2.0 beta.
    4. Install 1.1.0 stable.
    5. Please test it and report the result.

    thx
