Still no go, 12,493 jpg files in this folder

Don't understand why. Did you change the dll?

no just copy into the folder, I will recopy and try again

I installed the photo test apk on another tablet and it does the same thing. apk without photos worked

I left my tablet running and after 3 minutes it loaded the folders but no photos

For sure you need to remove the old dll and copy the new one or replace it but a dll renamed can create issue

yes, I did delete the renamed files and the original files then copy the new files.

on my tablet i uninstalled the photo ver. apk and reinstalled the latest from the store and it runs fine with the new dll files.
maybe something crashing in the photo apk file?

Which screen of the app did the photo version crash?

Pictures.
Crash may be the wrong term, more like hanging up.
It will over a length of time load the name of the folder but no files, this being after the dll change
