MPExended Beta7 will be uploaded soon which will support set movie stoptime and watched status on my video database.

MPExtended Service 0.6.0 beta7 is attached to the 1st post.

• Fixed cancel serial recording not working.
• Added ability to write back the stoptime and watched flag to the My Video database. Will be supported by the next version of MPTvScheduler.

thank you for your very nice Android App "MPTVScheduler. I us MPTVScheduler first time one years ago because some function are not support from MPTVscheduler, I go back to "AnMPdroid". One function that I missing was a support for "my music"Plugin from MediaPortal.

Last week I try to use MPTVScheduler again an I saw the function of "MPTVScheduler" has realy increased and the Android App is more stable then "AnMPdroid", so I have decide to switch now to "MPTVScheduler" final.

Unvortunaly some "basic" function I miss up to now in "MPTVScheduler. Because you ask the "community to missing I will tell you the function that you can find in the old "AnMPdroid" and I missing in MPTVScheduler.


Whis List:
- Remote Control function for MediaPortal
By aMPdroid you found this function under "navigation" (see Picture 1)
The Naviation Function make it possible to "spare" a classical IR remote control in a lot of situations

- Connect "indicator" (see Picture 3 )
The connect "indicator" make it easy to see the connection from MediaPortal TV-Server are AMPdroid ok

that MPTVScheduler is connect whis MediaPortal similary to the indicator from aMPdroid.

- Start and Shutdown function for MediaPortal (see Picture3)
(S1,S3,S5 Mode, Reboot, start Stop MediaPortal, Close MP, Focus MediaPortal etc.)

aMPdroid has a complette Shutdown and start function unvortunaly currently I miss this function in MPTVScheduler.

The most function from this "Shutdown" function works well at aMPdroid only
"WakePC, Hibernate" I have problem.

NAS Devices Problem:

- I have Problem to connect a "NAS" device. ( see Picture 3)
I can see my NAS device at devices list in "MPScheduler" device list . (Windows Networkpath: "\\DS\Video" )
the Fils from my Devices NAS devices is not possible to see at "MPTVScheduler" App (under myFilms,myPicture, myMusic)

Information:
My NAS is a "user Controld". It is possible that MPTVScheduler has problem whis "User control" devices
("User Name" and "password" Information is importend to use)

All this function was include in the old "aMPdroid" App too, so I hope it is possible to bring this function to "MPTVScheduler" too.

There are another remote control apps in the Play Store so I don't plan to add this feature.

- Connect "indicator" (see Picture 3 )

The app does not connect to server continuously. So there is no connected/disconnected state. The app will use less energy.

- Start and Shutdown function for MediaPortal (see Picture3)

WOL, shutdown, reboot, hibernate, sleep are already supported.

My NAS is a "user Controld". It is possible that MPTVScheduler has problem whis "User control" devices

Did you add the username/password to MPExtended to access your NAS?

Do think it is a good idee to need 2 Apps for Mediaportal on App to remote and one App for timer programming, watch TV etc. and a third App to controll your amplifier?

this situation and the missing function "my music" last year it was the reason to stay by "aMPdroid" because whis this App it was possible to use my Media Center and my Amplifier whis maximum 2 App

I think a remote control funktion in MPTVScheduler where more "user-friendly" than a second or third App.

Since my last try from MyTVScheduler in february the prograss was so big that I will not give up the new MPTVScheduler function because now it hase more function and is more stable then aMPdroid. Only I have to use 3 Apps is not realy confortabel. Maybe you will thinking over this topic in the future.

I think every App is similary to a separate remote controll of your "coffee table" and makes the remote controll usibility more
uncomfortable. I hoppe you understand what I mean. When it will not give this function i have to use 3 App for control my Multimedia system in the future.

Which remote control App in the Google Play Store you mean? I only know "aMPdroid" for Android Systems? When I use "aMPdroid" I have to use two Apps, whis similary function, to control my Mediaportal. easier would be better

Please can you tell me what I have to do to use it? Were can I found this setting in MPTVScheduler?
Since sunday I us MPTVScheduler Pro when my Media Center will go to "standby /S3 Mode" after 2 minute MPTVScheduler Pro tell me "No connection to TV-Server" and I have to switch on my Media Center manually .

This was on of the situations I whis I have a - Connect "indicator"...


3. PC acess to NAS:

Thank you for your Hints! This function i have realy overlook.

I think that is the reason I have no access to my NAS drive.
