Hi, just wondered if there is a way to set TV aspect ratio by individual channel in MP as we get freeview sat on multiple formats?

Hi gigabyter64. My QAM scan shows that several of my channels are squished. When I picked Stretch it seems to fix it. I haven't gone and seen if choosing Stretch messes up others. But I was wondering if there were settings for Aspect Ratio for each channel?
Anyone know?
EDIT: ok, I think i need to revise my post. I noticed that when I change channels, if I leave the previous channel playing, the aspect ratio gets either squished or stretched. If I stop the playback before actually choosing the next channel, it does not occur.
Usually this happens if it is between an SD channel and an HD channel.
This would be for 1.1.2, on a Comcast QAM scan.
Anyone know?

That was it! :)
I had to set it to "Maintain display scaling". I think it was set to "Maintain Aspect Ratio", which added black bars to MediaPortal when playing videos that didn't conform to a strict 16:9 ratio, I suppose.
