no core.dll for 1.6 version? (1 Viewer)

I want to install the 1.6 version of mediaportal but I see they have removed the "core.dll" file patched verison stop this.

Any word on when it will come out?

Is it necessary?

Ambilight is supported on the stock core.dll of 1.6, You don't need to replace core.dll anymore
