Start MP, switch channels. The OSD stays on the screen but the screen in the background is black. This related only the DVB-T channels.

Do you mean 'start MP, turn on TV' ? Or do you have MP set to turn on TV automatically?

Please give a precise description of steps.

Either way I have no problem with TV with DVB-T.

Thx. It seems to be same issue. It occures when I change HD/x264/ac3 to SD/x264/AAC or back. :(

Thank you for confirming that U&W works for you. I ended up deleting U&W and rescanning for channels. That fixed the issue.

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

As Alexander Pope said: A little learning is a dangerous thing, and Dr Google explains this as: The quotation warns that superficial knowledge of a subject can make people arrogant or foolish, suggesting one should either learn deeply or not at all. "Superficial", and "arrogant or foolish" would be me  . However... I would...

I currently have two Quatros running, one connect, one duo using OTA antennae, mostly UHF fringe area, mostly cat5 local network. Hauppauge card retired long ago. I have also retired very early SD units, the Quatros seem to work much better than the older units. Go to SD's support website and download and install the windows...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
