mysql or mssql?

I'm pretty comfortable with both but which is the more stable in conjunction with MP?

I stuck mssql on and got it all up and running in about an hour.

Everything seems alot faster using the latest build.

My TV feels a bit more responsive too.

Yes running mssql as well.

If your not using your pc as a full time htpc, you might like to try and-81 tvserver monitor, just extract the files to a folder and run exe, i put mine in the mediaportal folder and named the folder tvservermonitor, so even if you uninstalled MP it would still be there.

Also use winpatrol to run this as a delayed startup program (30 secs) just to give everything time to restart on boot.

That way you can instantly see what tvserver is doing by colour, opening status whilst recording will tell you program recording\s.

Actually this build of TVE3 working quite well with Vista, cannot say with xp, because i'm certain i have a driver problem, and i'm pretty sure it the creative audigy one.
