That is a correct statement!!
It started without a hitch, it played up to when Pandora asked, "Are you still there", click yes and it continued playing like normal.

The problem is that the original installer files refer to Default and DefaultWide skin files, which are no longer present in MP.
We have DefaultWideHD and Titan i think as default skins.
I have no idea, how that looks like. As Pandora only works in the U.S. i can only connect from inside a VM while being on my U.S. based company VPN.
And there i don't have full debug versions for MP, which makes it really hard to check, if the skin files are working ok.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
