    Just tested the download, and that indeed fails (y)
    I'm getting 2 different error messages. Besides yours "Cannot determine compressed stream type", i'm also getting "Error while downloading the subtitle: no download link found for subtitle"

    How did you fix this? I have the same problem for months now.
    I use MP 1.8 on Win 8.1.
    I tried cleaning the windows temp folder and the mediaportal cache.

    Sadly, I have to bump this. I get a "no link to download found" (or something similar) when I try to download subs from this provider now.
