One big problem - what is about deleted recordings? ;-) It doesn't work then. I think it should store the episode and season data in the recording section / database of the schedule itself and then only record shows which have higher numbers. Problem what is if you want to schedule also old ones?

I'm working on that. The new recording option is nearly ready. I'll provide a patch for MP 1.2 beta very soon.

Another issue I see is this is a universal setting. It may be with some shows or some channels the episode info isn't reliable and/or there are no repeats, so you prefer just to record everything. With other channels or shows there could be, as others say, 3 repeats a day and the episode info is reliable so you really want to use the episode info. Currently if I'm correct, there is no way you can do this with MP alone (a plugin probably can)

Ah yes EPG Data, I am so hosed on this since I live in the US. I get free EPG in Media Center but does no good in MP... sigh seems like there would be a way to use that or use that process to get EPG into MP...

Um ap90033, unless I am greatly mistaken, that is the sole reason for the existence of mc2xml.
